Before your first intake session, you will complete your intake paperwork, financial forms, and initial clinical assessments. This helps us make your initial intake session as productive as possible.

Your Intake Session

During your first formal intake session, you will meet with a clinician to share your history in more detail. This is a collaborative interaction where we will discuss your mental health history, goals, and the obstacles you are facing. You will also learn more about our programs and how we may intervene.

Determining Your Personalized Treatment Path

After your intake, the clinician will review information with outside providers and review your intake paperwork. Then the clinician will discuss your case with our larger consultation team to ensure you receive the best possible care. Based on this collaborative review, we will refer you to the most appropriate treatment path.

For Outpatient DBT:  You will begin with four pre-treatment sessions to create a personalized treatment plan, establish commitments, and learn the fundamentals of Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Afterward, you will be matched with a suitable DBT skills group.

For Intensive DBT: Following a similar pre-treatment planning phase, you will be referred for a more structured, short-term program that includes nine hours of group therapy and one individual session each week.

For CBT or CFT: If If Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) is the best fit, we will review your assessments, present them to our team, and develop a treatment hierarchy to guide your weekly or biweekly individual sessions.
