LCSW Therapist
Samarah takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach to help clients build skills for lasting change. She specializes in working with mood and personality challenges, anxiety, and difficulty managing intense emotions. She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE), and has experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP) protocols. Samarah provides individual therapy, co-facilitates group skills training, and participates in a weekly DBT consultation team. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Samarah holds a master's in social work from New York University and a bachelor's in neuroscience & behavior from Vassar College.
